System assumptions
How it's figured. Production comes from an industry‑standard solar‑production model — it pulls 20+ years of typical weather for the grid cell nearest your address and simulates an hour‑by‑hour year for your system size, tilt, and facing. Savings is that production times your electric rate (a simple offset — it doesn't model net‑metering buyback or rate tiers), and the 25‑year figure holds today's rate flat, so real savings run higher as power prices climb. Payback divides your net cost by year‑one savings. The range is an approximate ±5% weather band — real output swings year to year as sunshine does. Treat it all as a solid first‑pass estimate, not a binding quote.
